David Hertzberg – President / CEO

David Hertzberg is the President and CEO of Sonoran Waste Disposal. Dave started the company in 2005 and has been the key impetus for its continued growth. Dave was born in raised in Arizona and taken an active part in the community.   He was one of the first LEED Accredited waste professionals in the state of Arizona and is a board member of the Arizona Recycle Coalition . He received his BA from The University of Arizona and resides in Phoenix with his wife and two children.


Brian Yunt – Business Development

Born and raised in Arizona Brian graduated from McClintock High School in Tempe and the University of Arizona. Upon graduation Brian jumped on a plane to Tokyo, Japan and Shanghai, China where he lived and worked as an English teacher and business developer. Brian returned to Arizona for some time working in the transportation industry. Brian once again returned to Asia with the United States Peace Corps as an English teacher trainer and community development partner. After 27 months in below freezing temperatures Brian returned to his hometown to work with high achieving at risk youth to help them realize their dreams of being the first in their families to graduate from university.

With two young nephews Brian likes to stay close to home these days and is still actively involved in the community as a board member for both the Young Non Profit Professionals Network and the North Phoenix Rotary Club. Brian loves being a part of the Sonoran Waste Disposal team as it is the perfect balance of building a business while positively impacting his community by actively diverting waste from landfills and working to keep Arizona dollars in the local community.
